Enrolment Info

Enrolment at CKM

On enrolment, a meeting can be requested with the Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to discuss with CKM what will help make your child’s time with us enjoyable. During this meeting you will be given a tour of the service and basic operational information will be provided such as staffing arrangements, programming, menus etc.

CKM Parent Handbook: Please click on link for our Handbook

Parents/guardians are required to complete an online enrolment form before any child is able to attend the service (see bottom of page for link).

Government funded Child Care support:
To ensure that you receive any government funded childcare benefits that you may be eligible for, you need to:
1. Register your child or children on the MyGov website for Outside School Hours Care. You will receive a Customer Reference Number (CRN) as the parent/guardian and a separate CRN for each child. These CRN's need to be provided in your enrolment form.
2. Provide the birth date for the parent/guardian and birth dates for each child in your enrolment forms.

Until the full enrolment process is complete CCS will not be available to claim.

If your child has additional needs, a meeting will take place between relevant parties before the child commences at the service. These meetings can include, but are not limited to topics such as:

  • The level of support required by the child
  • Duration of support
  • Necessary additional training of staff
  • The safety of all children enrolled
  • Environmental factors
  • Sources of information and resources/support services that will ensure the best possible care of the child.

This information will help CKM to meet the needs of your child and where necessary, seek assistance from speciality support workers. All information obtained through the enrolment procedures will be kept in strict confidence and used only for the purpose for which it is obtained. It is in your child’s best interest that the enrolment form is kept up to date.

Payment of Fees and Outstanding Fees

It is CKM’s aim to provide a quality service to families at an affordable price. The Management Committee will set fees based on the annual budget required for the provision of quality child care that is in keeping with our philosophy, goals and policies and procedures. Generally fees are reviewed in January each year. Parents/guardians will be notified of any changes via the newsletter and/or email and reissue of Complying Written Agreements (CWAs).

Accounts are issued weekly (to your registered email address) on Thursdays, with payment due within 7 days of issue. Each account will show the amount incurred for the prior week (Monday to Friday) with any outstanding amount from prior periods included. However you can check your account balance at anytime once you have completed the enrolment form and then set up your account through the Xplor app (Xplor is the company we use for our business administration and parent portal).

How the Child Care Subsidy Affects the Fees

Based on the combined family income and activity, a family may be entitled to a subsidy of up to 90% of the child care fee for a maximum of 100 hours per fortnight.
